CHALLENGE

BI Norwegian Business School needed a Service Management tool to support their processes within the IT, and other non-IT related areas. Their excisting solution did not fulfill their requirements to achieve that goal. Symfoni was selected to help implement a solution based on the ServiceNow platform.

SOLUTION

BI Norwegian Business School is one of Europe’s largest business schools with around 20,000 students and 340 permanent faculties. To be able to support all  employees and students they needed to establish a good Service Management solution. BI focused on establishing different services by using ServiceNow. The solution is developed to support not only IT, but also finance, HR, Facility Management and a portal will be available for over 10.000 students.

RESULT

BI own their buildings, and by implementing Facility Management  they are now able to deliver building management and get better control of all facilities. With ServiceNow installed, they are also more capable of providing employees with a higher level of service on IT and non-it related areas, at a lower cost. The student portal will be used for IT support  to students  – like iPads, Smartphones, Androides etc.
